Maridon House Hotel Oban, Oban

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The rooms, although on the smaller side, were very clean, tidy, and comfortable. The breakfast was truly a delight with lovely produce, but the rooms were quite compact for the ferry.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms looked straight onto the street, which would have benefitted from blinds for more privacy, but I could open them for extra ventilation. The room was small, but there was a lovely large lounge with two big sofas, leading to a small but quiet bedroom and bathroom behind it, both backing onto a rock face.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious with a lounge attached, giving us extra private space to relax. They were lovely, clean, and definitely worth the money. The service was very friendly and accommodating, although a tad absent at times. The location was excellent, slightly away from the hustle and bustle but within easy walking distance to the main streets and perfect for catching a ferry with free parking nearby. The dining experience was delicious and good value for money, offering a great selection of foods. Overall, a fantastic hotel for a relaxing and convenient stay in Oban.
